From the next half year of 2017, Exit and Entry Administration Department started inspecting offices with police stations in all districts, and those have been found without actual business operation may be listed in abnormal status in Guangzhou foreign unit management system.
It may affect the work and residence permit application of employees in the company, only obtaining stay visa with valid period of one month.

What to do if your company
is listed in abnormal status?
❶ Consult the exact reasons of abnormal status in window 2, 5th floor, No.155, Jiefang Nan Road, Exit and Entry Administration Mansion.

❷ As for the reason of office inspection, you should submit the following things to local police station and ask the police officers to inspect your office as soon as possible.

valid contract of tenancy record,

legal person’s passport,

visa page (page with entry stamp),

registration card,

work permit,
-
employees’ ID card

❸ Arrange employees or legal person to wait for the police officers in the office and be patient with the inspection record updated by them in the system.
❹ After the police officers uploading the documents, legal person should submit the following things to window 2, 5th floor, No.155, Jiefang Nan Road, Exit and Entry Administration Mansion and ask the police officers to remove the abnormal status.

Working hours of police stations:
8:30am-12:00am, 2:00pm-5:00pm;
Working hours of Exit and Entry Administration Department:
8:30 am-12:00am, 2:00pm-5:00pm.
During daily working hours, you’d better arrange an employee in the office instead of letting it empty for a long time; besides, you may leave a notice when you are outside for work:
Please contact our employee by calling “xxxxx” if the police officers come and inspect. We will arrange employee to go back to the office as soon as possible.
We suggest that you should maintain a good relationship with management office and landlord, and should pay the rent, utility bills and management fee on time for the reason that police officers may consult the management office and landlord directly about the office situation of your company.

Contradiction with landlord may result in he/she refusing to cooperate with the police officers, which may affect your visa application.
During the period of visa application, applicant must stay in the office and keep the fixed phone and mobile available.
