Adjustment of VAT rate

• If the general VAT taxpayers (hereinafter referred to as taxpayers) conducted VAT taxable sales activities or imported goods, the original 16% tax rate will be adjusted to 13%; the original 10% tax rate will be adjusted to 9%.

• If the taxpayer purchased agricultural products, the original 10% deduction rate will be adjusted to 9%. The taxpayer purchases the agricultural products used for the production or manufacturing consignment at a 13% tax rate, and calculation of the input tax amount that will be deducted at a 10% rate.

• For export goods at a 16% tax rate and export tax rebate rate of 16%, the export tax rebate rate will be adjusted to 13%; the original 10% tax rate and export tax rebate rate of 10% of export goods & cross-border taxable behavior, the export tax rebate rate will be adjusted to 9%.

Application for customs data

Since 31st March, the public could send Email to dwtjfw@mail.customs.gov.cn, and Tel: 010-65196015 to get electronic import and export data.

The data including product name, code, quantity, amount, import and export consignee or consignor registered a place, ownership character of consignee or consignor, trading way, transport method and so on.

Adjustment of the charging method in port

The Ministry of Transport and National Development and Reform Commission issued an announcement called Port Charges of Collecting and Calculating, which goes into effect on today, with a 5-year validity period. According to the announcement, some government pricing standards will be lowered, fees will be consolidated and regulated.
