 On November 3, the X-press BRAHMAPUTRA, a share space barge serving the Colombo and Indian routes, collided violently with the terminal as it left the Port of NEW MANGALORE, India. The accident caused the container ship to hit the port side stern several meters long crack, and has been caused a very serious delay.

Turkish Customs Releases News on Entry & Transhipment

 Turkish customs has recently imposed new requirements on all incoming or transhipment cargo and will strictly enforce them. For goods to be unloaded at Turkish ports, including goods imported from Turkey and transhipped via Turkey, H.S. code and commodity instructions are mandatory, as is the VAT number of the consignee and notifier.
